It seems to me that Americans are missing the big picture. While a lot of people are fighting each other in this country, China, Russia and anyone else who wants to see democracy fail is watching and having a good chuckle. We have a much bigger problem than our differences. Not only are our enemies loving what is going on but I am sure they have their fingers in there stoking the fires. And I don't believe that the threat is only from outside. I believe there are people in this country who think things would be better, at least for them, if our government were an autocracy. Why? Because they think they know what is best for you. LOL! Read that as, "they know what is best for them" and that is not what is best for you unless you are "them". Are you them?
I read, recently, that the far left and the far right extremists make up about 7 to 8% of the total voters in each party.
You want one person or group of people to decide what is best for you? Be careful what you ask for. What? You didn't ask for that? Did you vote? Are you going to let the fringe fanatics run this country? Whether they be right or left, in this case, the squeaky wheel must not get the grease. The silent majority must speak up. Your vote is your voice. So stop yelling and vote.
Every action evokes an inevitable reaction. It brings to mind, be careful what you ask for and be ready to duck.
Freedom comes with responsibilities. Those that violate that responsibility should be held liable. People get hurt because of the lies.
Wait! Just a minute...is it us? Are we our own worst enemy? I mean, we are the ones who are dividing the country. Only "we" can destroy democracy. "They" can't do that unless we let them.
Yep! It's us. Nevermind!
