The God Standard

I am struggling with this. Thought it would be easy? One problem is not ruffling anyone's feathers. See, right there. That is such a trite thing to say because  it is such a personal thing. So emotional. 

? Is there only one God? I think everyone can be in agreement on that. 

Way back when, there were just too many God's. There was a God for everything. The wind, the water, thunder, volcanoes, fire and so on, and so on. I looked up Greek Gods and Goddesses and a web site said there were 66????? I don't think that is even counting Demigods? Hades was a Greek god? With the statues, the great paintings, the myths, the plays...all, way cool...but just too confusing. 

Must ponder further......have concerns with the one God agreement thing up there. 

Maybe skip the question of God which could be controversial and go to The God Standard? 

Must ponder.
