The chicken or the egg?

After much pondering and researching this seemingly unanswerable question both independently and in consult with several esteemed colleagues, I have arrived at a conclusion. Let us all finally put this to rest. 

It was the chicken that came first. You may quote me on that. 

So there it is. Question answered. Never to be asked again. 

Oh I know there are doubters. But for you I say, a chicken can make an egg but an egg can only make an omelet. 

So put an end to this insanity once and for all and just move on. 

While I am at it...let's put an end to that stupid question about whether or not a tree falling makes a noise. Of course it does. It doesn't matter whether you are there to hear it or not.

I can only imagine that this originated with 2 dudes or dudettes higher than a kite when one of them says, "Oh man. I just had an epiphany. 2nd dude...big word man. Yeah, I don't know where that came from. This is some really good stuff man. Dude, I forgot what I was going to say. It was something about an epiphany dude. Oh yeah. I remember now. What if a tree falls in the forest........."

If you are not high or drunk or on something and you are seriously perplexed or baffled by these questions....??????
